7.5KW 2-Pole Three-Phase Induction Motor Introduction
This 7.5KW three-phase induction motor is a high-performance industrial drive unit, featuring a 2-pole configuration and a rated speed of 2800 RPM—closely approaching the 3000 RPM synchronous speed under 50Hz three-phase alternating current (AC) power supply. Its core operational mechanism adheres to the principle of electromagnetic induction: when three-phase AC is supplied to the stator windings, a uniform rotating magnetic field (RMF) is generated, with rotational speed inversely proportional to the number of pole pairs. The RMF cuts the rotor conductors, inducing electromotive force (EMF) and eddy currents, and the interaction between these induced currents and the RMF produces strong electromagnetic torque, driving the rotor to rotate asynchronously with a low slip ratio (3%-5% at rated load), ensuring efficient and stable high-speed power transmission.
Structurally engineered for durability and high-speed performance, the motor adopts a robust cast-iron frame with IP54 protection class, providing excellent mechanical rigidity, dustproof, and waterproof capabilities to adapt to harsh industrial environments such as high-speed processing workshops and HVAC engine rooms. The stator is equipped with high-purity oxygen-free copper windings encapsulated in Class F insulation material, boasting a thermal endurance temperature of 155℃, which minimizes copper loss and effectively prevents insulation breakdown caused by high-speed operation and heat accumulation. The 2-pole rotor features a precision die-cast aluminum squirrel-cage structure, ensuring high mechanical strength, low rotational inertia, and minimal maintenance needs, paired with high-precision sealed deep-groove ball bearings lubricated by high-temperature lithium-based grease to reduce frictional loss and ensure smooth long-term high-speed rotation.
Key performance parameters are meticulously calibrated for high-speed industrial applicability: rated voltage 380V (50Hz), rated current approximately 15A, and a rated power factor of ≥0.89. It delivers a starting torque of 1.8 times the rated torque for reliable startup under light-to-medium loads, with a maximum torque of 2.2 times the rated torque to cope with occasional load fluctuations during high-speed operation. Compliant with IE2/IE3 energy efficiency standards, it minimizes energy consumption while controlling noise emission at ≤78dB at 1m. Widely used in high-speed mechanical processing, large-scale HVAC systems, and high-flow fluid engineering equipment, it supports both horizontal and vertical mounting. Regular insulation resistance testing (≥2MΩ at 500V DC) and bearing lubrication maintenance extend its service life, making it a cost-effective and reliable high-speed drive solution.
