4KW 6-Pole Three-Phase Induction Motor Introduction
This 4KW three-phase induction motor is a high-reliability medium-duty drive component, featuring a 6-pole configuration and a rated speed of 900 RPM—closely approaching the 1000 RPM synchronous speed under 50Hz three-phase alternating current (AC) power supply. Its core operational mechanism is rooted in the electromagnetic induction principle: when three-phase AC is supplied to the stator windings, a uniform rotating magnetic field (RMF) is generated, with rotational speed determined by power frequency and pole pair count. The RMF cuts the rotor conductors, inducing electromotive force (EMF) and eddy currents within the rotor, and the interaction between these induced currents and the RMF produces stable electromagnetic torque, driving the rotor to rotate asynchronously with a low slip ratio (3%-5% at rated load), ensuring consistent power transmission for load-sensitive equipment.
Structurally engineered for durability and environmental adaptability, the motor adopts a rugged cast-iron frame with IP54 protection class, providing effective dustproof and waterproof performance to withstand harsh working environments such as dusty workshops, high-humidity agricultural settings, and HVAC equipment rooms. The stator is fitted with high-purity oxygen-free copper windings encapsulated in Class F insulation material, which boasts a thermal endurance temperature of 155℃, minimizing copper loss and preventing insulation breakdown caused by long-term operation or overheating. The 6-pole rotor features a die-cast aluminum squirrel-cage structure, ensuring high mechanical strength, low rotational inertia, and minimal maintenance requirements, while precision sealed deep-groove ball bearings—lubricated with high-temperature lithium-based grease—reduce frictional loss and ensure smooth long-term operation.
Key performance parameters are meticulously calibrated for industrial applicability: rated voltage 380V (50Hz), rated current approximately 8.2A, and a rated power factor of ≥0.85. It delivers a starting torque of 1.7 times the rated torque for reliable startup under light-to-medium loads, with a maximum torque of 2.1 times the rated torque to handle occasional load fluctuations. Compliant with IE2/IE3 energy efficiency standards, it minimizes energy consumption, with noise emission controlled at ≤73dB at 1m. Widely used in mechanical processing, agricultural irrigation, municipal ventilation, and HVAC systems, it supports both horizontal and vertical mounting. Regular maintenance—including insulation resistance testing (≥2MΩ at 500V DC) and bearing lubrication replacement—effectively extends its service life, making it a cost-effective and stable drive solution for diverse scenarios.
